Anonymous asked: I have a Pfaff 297 sewing machine (I believe it was made in the 1970's) but I need to get it fixed because when I push the pedal, the motor makes a sound like it is running, but the needle does not move up and down. Where should I take it to get it fixed and do you know approximately how much it would cost?

Anonymous asked: could you help me?? i want to start making things without the aid of a premade pattern - so using blocks to make my own patterns. i wanted to start off by making this top ( http://tinypic.com/r/28cj2p4/7 ) becuase it looks pretty simple, but im wondering if i need to do anything to the block where i have to add the elastic at the bottom? would i need to add extra fabric for it? or not? x
